Jonathan Teo leaves Y&R for BBDO/Proximity Singapore executive creative director role – creative director Bridget Taylor moves on

BBDO/Proximity has lured Australian expat Jonathan Teo (far left) to their Singapore agency in therole of executive creative director. Teo is currently ECD at Y&RShanghai. The move reunites Teo with BBDO/Proximity chief creativeofficer Danny Searle with whom he worked at The CampaignPalace, Sydney in the 90s. Teo fills the ECD role vacated by Jagdish Ramakrishnan back in September last year.

In other moves at BBDO/Proximity, Kiwi expat creative director Bridget Taylor (above) has resigned after less than a year in the role.Taylor is a multi-award winning creative, having won awards atD&AD, Clio, One Show, Cannes Gold and Adfest. She was previously adeputy creative director at DDB New Zealand where she was instrumentalin helping the agency win Campaign Brief’s NZ Agency of the Year twice.

Taylor told CB: “I start filming the new series of The Gruen Transfertoday so I’ll be in Sydney a lot over the next few months. As for mynext move, I’d rather not say, but there are some very exciting thingshappening.”
