Actually, I should have gotten a second opinion before writing that.
Good to see Steve Earle got a gig after The Wire.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that, 2:04.
Oh, by the way A Second Opinion now offers an entirely new service: No Opinion.
Good move BWM – great guy, he looks pretty scraggy – but great creative!

Matt, you look like Nobby.
4:31, A Second Opinion closed for business in December 2009 following a spectacular lack of interest by clients, who, when it comes to assessing the worth of their advertising seem to prefer the ill-informed and inarticulate opinions of The Man (Or Woman) On The Street – who will happily sit in judgement of your ideas for $60 and a bowl of potato chips.
I was wrong in thinking marketers would value the expert analysis and opinion of an experienced industry insider.
But I’m really not fussed. It leaves me free to enjoy my retirement – and the cut and thrust of the CB blog, where I express my views from behind a variety of ingenious disguises. One of my favourites is ‘Anonymous’.
You’re still a gentleman Monty. I’ll probably get kicked off the Blog for saying something positive…

Jeez, I thought it was George Best back from the grave.
Good on you Monty – at least you had a crack.
