DDB Sydney beefs up its creative firepower with addition of ‘The Ladies’ and ‘The Lads’

Jen Speirs and Madeline Smith_sml.jpgMatt Eastwood, National Creative Director and Vice Chairman DDB Australia, today announced that the DDB Sydney creative department has been bolstered by the addition of four new faces: Jen Speirs and Madeline Smith, affectionately known as ‘The Ladies’; and Justin Theng and Guy Lemberg, aka ‘The Lads’.

Jen and Madeline join as Creative Group Heads on clients includingContinental and Johnson & Johnson. Previously, Jen and Madelineworked at Whybin\TBWA together for four years, before moving on to TheCampaign Palace and then the freelance world last year, launching ‘TheLadies’ brand and their own website. Past clients include Bonds,Dominos, 3, as well as the acclaimed Berlei Uplifting Tour Of Australiacampaign.

In addition, the creative pairing of Justin Thengand Guy Lemberg, now coined as the ‘The Lads’, have also joined DDBSydney full time. The pair will work on a range of clients. Thisfollows on from their partnership at The Campaign Palace, where theydelivered strong through-the-line creative work for Bonds, RSVP and 3Mobile. Theng also spearheaded the Three Drunk Monkey’s digitaloffering when the agency first started.
