Hilarious.
Seems more like an extension of the cat playing with the tampon idea, but it’s still pretty funny. Why are there always idiot boyfriend types in ads for women’s sanitary products, though? I guess Lesbians don’t use them. There’s some good outdoor and ambient opportunities here too – clear (invisible) stickers, billboards, bus shelters.
It’s no Dove Love, is it?
Didn’t you see the invisible counter card I left on your desk this morning Cam?
agreed. predictable
Well, it’s a great product demo… and the demo is king in this type of ad. So kudos for doing something original there.
Libra own the doofus boyfriend/dumb male territory, so yes, it is an extension of previous ads… but that’s what makes it a campaignable, ownable idea, innit?
It made me smile and made me wanna check out the new invisible pads with super sticky wings… as a girl, we’re always looking for something new and fab in that department…
I like the reference to Wonder Woman and maybe even her ‘invisible’ jet… I can see the creative presentation to sell the concept now!
What’s so funny?
some pretty shoddy continiuty going on with the dad walking in….
Juvenile, predictable.
I like these. Period.
does that make him a good wing man?
Doesn’t sticking sanitary towels all over him simply reinforce what he is?
7.15pm. YES! GOLD!
I prefer 5:11.
Genius. Period.
Thanks to the brilliant 1.02, I have just found the next amazing strap line for a product that concerns girls’ things; “south’ … you somehow put the word ‘beaver’ together with the word ‘period’ and bingo!!!. Gold.
just reinforces why I use tampons !
I’m not a fan, think it tries to hard, but then I don’t have a vagina. My wife however does, and she loved it.
However she hates the cat/tampon spot. And people say advertising is easy!
I laughed.
i didn’t break a smile.
This ad is totally disgusting. The product is for women to use for personal hygiene for heavens sake. It is not for men to use for any reason. I mute the TV or change channels when this ad comes on. PLEASE SOMEONE TAKE IT OFF AIR.
People that don’t think it funny need to get over there self. Fair enough periods aren’t fun or funny but the funny thing mainly for the ad is the boyfriend acting like a retard. I’ve had arguments everytime the ad comes on with girls but I don’t understand how it’s sexist it’s just a f’ing ad. I like to know wether the ad was created by a women or man or the idea for that case. Tell me what you think!
This is hilarious!!! everytime my boyfriend and I see this ad we crack up!!
I think its great they’ve made light of awkward female products. Why not, I hate the ads that make out as if the world is a beautiful place when one uses the product? its actually the worst time of the month remember!!
CHING CHING!!
This ad has gone nuts on FB: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-new-Libra-Invisible-Ad/323006041643
this ad should be banned. it is disgusting and it is degrading to women and it is a personal part of being a woman, an invasion of our privacy and we dont need it plastered over our tv screens or cinemas for everyone to laugh and make fun of. it makes the audience uncomforatble. do we go around making personal ads regarding men.get rid of it. very immature and disrespectful.
Get over yourself. It’s a funny ad and it is in no way degrading to women. If you are a woman and you think it is degrading you then you are so self obsessed and if you are a guy who thinks this is sexist you have no sense of humor. Get over yourself and lighten up!
Can someone please tell me what he says to himself about 1/4 the way through the ad, I love it and i am a female.
This inane & infantile ad does SUCH a disservice to both men & women, shame on you Libra! Do you imagine that upping the ante and having this annoying “personality” even more in our faces will increase your sales? As a lady who will need to use sanitary products for some time to come, I will NEVER buy another Libra product.
Get a life you sad sorry people. If you can’t get a laugh out of a silly young man imagining that he is wonderman then you need to go down to your local gun shop and get something to end your sad little miserable, unimaginitive lives you LOSERS. Period.
yep you continue to use offensive ads for your products.
show a little respect for women.
Maybe this advertising company should enter the worst tv ads competition.
I am tired of these ridiculous immature ads and will no longer be buying any product from your company.
This add is demeaning and highly offensive towards women and should be removed immediately. It is embarassing and condescending towards females in general. I can’t b believe the relevant authorities have allowed it to continue.
I am certainly going to take the issue further with my complaint.
All women should sue LIBRA and blackban all their products. Not only that how disgusting is the company to allow children to view such ‘trash’.
Totally irresponsible.
