Luscious Sam Bryant wins at Flickerfest

Sam_Bryant_headshot-web.jpgLuscious International director Sam Bryant picked up a couple of the major awards at Flickerfest short film festival Sunday night. His short film ‘GPS’ won the SBS Television Award where SBS selects one film out of the entire festival to broadcast on SBS television. The film also won Best Editing craft.

GPS is a story about Thompson – a seven year old boy who has one dream in life, to be the voice of a GPS navigator. But unfortunately Thompson has a lisp. For years he tries to forget his dream, but he can’t get it out of his mind. When he auditions at Gusto GPS Navigators, he embarks on an impossible journey that sends him into a spiral of despair – no one wants to hire a GPS navigator with a lisp.

Since the film was made almost a year ago, it has enjoyed success atfestivals all over the world, including Cannes, LA Shorts and ADFEST.
