Spots for Creative RAW 2009 are being snapped up fast by enthusiastic junior copywriters and art directors keen to showcase their talents to the top names in the creative industry and create a campaign that will be published in The Age.
Creative RAW encourages Melbourne’s best upcoming talent to createnewspaper advertising that breaks the mould. To be eligible,copywriters and art directors must be currently working within theindustry and have less than three years’ experience. They are invitedto spend the day on Friday 6 November from 9am to 6pm at Fad Gallery inChinatown.
On the morning of the competition, each team will receive three things:a newspaper brief, paper and markers. At the end of the day they willpresent their campaigns to a panel of big name judges led by chairman,Russel Howcroft, national CEO of GPY&R. The winning team willreceive a fantastic prize (currently as secret as the brief is)! Theywill also turn their raw concept into a newspaper campaign, to bepublished in The Age.
