SAMI AND GINA HEAD TO JWT NEW YORK
Aussie expats Samira Ansari (Saatchi & Saatchi Paris) and Georgina Hofmann (Karmarama London) will team up to join JWT New York next month to work closely with sister expat, ECD Sarah Barclay. Barclay works on Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury’s Trident, Bubalicious and Halls, and is global ECD on Schick.
Ansari and Hofmann both started their careers at Cummins and Partners in Melbourne followed by a stint at Y&R. They departed four years ago for jobs in Paris and London.
Their combined experience includes work on the launch of Virgin Airlines in Australia, Cadbury Schweppes, GM Holden, Toyota, T-Mobile, Pipex, Nestle, Ariel Europe, Amnesty International, IFAW and MTV.
“We’ve been friends for such a long time and have always ended up at the same agencies. So, we figured it was about time we teamed up and made some noise. We’re pumped to do some great work by mixing things up a little and figured there was no better place to do it than in NY with Sarah.”

Wow, the Veronicas are in advertising. Respect.
Karmarama will be just a little bit less glamorous without you Gina…. I’m sure Dave and the boys will be very sad!
look into the eyes, not around the eyes, look into the eyes

Go gals you rock!
Sooooooooooooooproud of you Sami
I worked with both of these gals several years ago and you were to smart for the aussie boys club.
Obviously you’re not too smart though, 3.33PM.
are they old enough to travel without a guardian?
What’s with the censoring? You’ve changed Lynchy.
Do they need a bit of creative direction?
3.37 Glad to hear I’m not the only one that was censored?
If u were censored, it was obviously for a reason. Remember what your momma said: If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all. There’s enough negativity, crap and inappropriate comments on this blog as it is.
If you don’t want to be censored, you have to word your criticism more carefully.
Those girls are just so beautiful and talented. The industry is in better shape just because they decided not to be hairdressers.
