he’s kind of hot
The Dove ‘Evolution’ work done by Aussie Tim Piper out of Ogilvy Toronto? Why is this guy taking credit?
7:50 … the ‘Dove for Real Beauty’ strategy came out of London under Poynton a couple of years back … is was so successful (‘most talked about campaign’), Ogilvy’s adopted it for all Dove work globally.
I think every time you see an article with Poynton taking credit for the ‘Dove For Real Beauty’ campaign it can be mistaken he’s taking complete credit for the ‘Evolution’ ad. Which i don’t think is the case. Where in the article does it mention the ‘Evolution’ ad?
However. It’s fair to say, ‘Evolution’ would have never been done if Ogilvy London hadn’t come up with ‘Dove For Real Beauty’ strategy. He’s got every right to blow his trumpet that such great work can be done under that strategy.
I don’t think anyone is under any illusion who the creators were on the ‘Evolution’ campaign.
Thanks for clearing that up Malcolm
Pleas God, don’t tell me this is part of another Droga5 appointment PR campaign!
