Getting Our Mojo Back: Ex Mojo chief Nicholas Davie releases ‘Australia42’ ~ free and online
Nicholas Davie, former CEO and Partner of Publicis Mojo Group, Publicis Mojo and Zenith Optimedia from 1995 to 2012, has written and released a book, Australia⁴², which is available to read for free online.
In the book, Davie looks at what he sees as Australia’s woes and what the country might do about them, from the extraordinary hand it has been dealt to how badly he believes it is playing it, and how it could get some of its mojo back.

Says Davie: “There comes a point when ‘someone should do something about it’ becomes a slightly embarrassing thing to just keep saying.
“So I’ve written about what I see as Australia’s woes, and what we might do about them. It’s a look at the extraordinary hand we’ve been dealt, how incredibly badly we’re playing it, and how we could get some of our mojo back. Pun intended.”
Davie chose to bypass a traditional publishing deal so the book could be released quickly and free of charge.
“I was offered a publishing route, but that would take months, time I don’t think we have. Also, I wanted it to be free. If you want to start a peaceful revolution, charging for it would be a pretty rude place to start.”
He is also inviting readers to engage with, and challenge, his ideas:
“You’ll agree with some of it. You may think other bits are ridiculous. Pick a subject you care about. Check the reasoning. Find the hole. Tell me what you’d do better. Bring your facts though, I did.
“I hope you’ll take a look and join the revolution. If something strikes a chord, please pass it on.”
