Day 3… wrap day and awards!!
Well, the big day has come and gone.
Final debates. Final collaborations and conversations have been reviewed and settled.
There’s been so much excitement, with so much wealth of talent, it’s been a tough call.
For me, it was the freshness, originality and innovation I was looking for in the work.
To exchange preferences and voice my opinions to the whole panel brought a sense of pleasure to me.
At the end of the day, with so much good work to be recognised, tough decisions had to be made.
After all, we were judging the work of the future rising stars of industry from forty countries around the world.
Well, we did it. Statues are ready to be awarded and it’s all over until next year.
To be a member of the 2026 LIA jury will remain a defining moment in my career.
I was also talking with fellow VML colleague Julia Dovlatova, ECD, VML Czechia, who said of her jury: “We wrapped Digital and Creators & Social Platforms with zero fights or grumps or disagreements, despite having had very different opinions on a couple of pieces, and I consider it a great success! So grateful to LIA for bringing us together!”
“What happened in Vegas this week will most certainly not stay in Vegas!!”
