LIA 2026: Bear Meets Eagle On Fire wins 3 Bronze in Production & Post; FINCH scores Bronze

Bear Meets Eagle On Fire and FINCH have picked up Bronze Statues at the 2026 London International Awards (LIA), with the Entertainment & Content and Cultural Catalyst, Sports, Production & Post and Music Video, and Non-Traditional juries announcing their winners after days of on-site judging in Las Vegas.

 

Australia’s tally from the latest round of results stands at four Bronze, all in Production & Post.

Production & Post and Music Video

Bear Meets Eagle On Fire won three Bronze Statues for Telstra: two in CGI Animation, for ‘Girl & Ghost’ and ‘Wherever we go again’, and one in Stop-Frame Animation Series for Telstra Satellite Messaging ‘Hiker’, ‘Miner’ and ‘Farmer’.

FINCH won Bronze in New Director Series for Ourness – Genesis Owusu ‘Stampede’, ‘Death Cult Zombie’ and ‘Life Keeps Going’, directed by Isaac Brown.

Led by Jury President Christiane Dressler, Managing Director/Executive Producer, Anorak Film Berlin, the Production & Post jury awarded a Grand LIA, nine Gold, 15 Silver and 23 Bronze Statues. Kate Gooden, Partner/Executive Producer, Scoundrel, served on the jury.

The Grand LIA went to Ogilvy Bangkok for The Coca-Cola Company series ‘Dentist’ and ‘Cable Guy’.

In Music Video, the jury awarded a Grand LIA, four Gold, one Silver and one Bronze Statue. The Grand LIA went to Rue Creative Studio, Paris for Mond ‘BZNS’.

Sports

LIA’s inaugural Sports jury, led by Jury President Shannon Washington, Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner, 11 Ounces Brooklyn, awarded a Grand LIA, four Gold, seven Silver and nine Bronze Statues. Stephen de Wolf, National Chief Creative Officer, Clemenger BBDO, represented Australia on the jury.

The first Sports Grand LIA went to VML Poland, Warsaw for Wisła Kraków FC ‘Lucky Fan Index’. De Wolf wrote in his LIA diary for CB that the jury’s decision was unanimous.

Entertainment & Content and Cultural Catalyst

Led by Jury President Geoff Edwards, Managing Director, Creative, GALE, the Entertainment & Content jury awarded a Grand LIA, three Gold, four Silver and four Bronze Statues. Mandie van der Merwe, Chief Creative Officer, Saatchi & Saatchi Australia, served on the jury.

The Grand LIA went to AlmapBBDO, São Paulo for Johnnie Walker ‘The Walk to the Walk of Fame’.

In Cultural Catalyst, a new category for 2026, the jury awarded five Gold, two Silver and two Bronze Statues.

VIEW THE ENTERTAINMENT & CONTENT AND CULTURAL CATALYST WINNERS

Non-Traditional

Led by Jury President Cristina Reina, Chief Creative Experience Officer, Droga5 New York and the Americas, the Non-Traditional jury awarded a Grand LIA, 11 Gold, five Silver and 11 Bronze Statues.

The Grand LIA went to VML UK, London for KitKat ‘The KitKat Heist’.

Colenso BBDO won Gold in Non-Traditional in Health & Pharma for Testicular Cancer NZ ‘Lump Lottery’, and Silver in Public Service/Charity/NGO for the same campaign.
