VANDAL appoints Alicia Hollier as Experiential Producer

VANDAL, which was recently named the top production company in Asia-Pacific in Campaign Brief’s The Work 2026, has appointed Alicia Hollier as Experiential Producer, strengthening the independent, hybrid creative and production studio’s capability to deliver cross-platform experiences for brands, agencies and cultural institutions.

Hollier joins from the Biennale of Sydney – Australia’s largest contemporary art festival and one of the world’s oldest recurring exhibitions – where she most recently served as Exhibitions Manager for its 25th edition, Rememory. Hollier brings extensive knowledge and connections in the contemporary art realm, drawings from her experience in commercial art, public art, and large-scale commissions in Queensland prior to her time at the Biennale.

Hollier’s background combines the practical demands of experiential delivery with a curatorial understanding of how creative work connects with audiences. Her appointment brings a valuable combination of creative sensitivity and organisational experience to VANDAL: helping shape an idea, working closely with its creators and coordinating the detail required to realise it.

At VANDAL, Hollier will work alongside Executive Creative Director Chris Scott, Managing Director Brenden Johnson and the studio’s multidisciplinary team, helping clients and collaborators navigate the production process from creative development through to delivery.

Says Scott: “Experiential work asks you to think about the whole encounter: the idea, the space, the technology and how people will engage with it. Alicia brings a strong understanding of creative work of all varieties alongside the practical experience of getting complex projects delivered. That combination has real value for us, whether we’re creating a cross-platform experience for a brand or transforming a public space. We’re excited to have her bring that perspective to the team.”

For Hollier, the breadth of VANDAL’s practice and its collaborative approach were central to the appeal: “VANDAL is uniquely positioned to connect with the many facets that make up Australia’s cultural arena. The breadth of the company’s offering intersects with many aspects of my professional background, and I’m eager to push the bounds of their experiential offering and see the already diverse scope expand interstate and beyond. The VANDAL team are dynamic in their thinking, hold space for First Nations stories and possess the in-house expertise to collaborate with a diversity of creative voices. I’m thrilled to join the team and contribute to VANDAL’s lasting legacy.”

Based in Sydney’s Redfern on Gadigal Country, VANDAL brings creative development and production together across these disciplines. Hollier’s appointment strengthens the team connecting those capabilities, helping brands, institutions and artists turn ambitious ideas into experiences that audiences can explore and participate in.
