Campaign Brief Video: Interview with Barbara Levy, President and Founder of LIA, at start of awards judging + Creative LIAisons in Las Vegas
Campaign Brief caught up with Barbara Levy, President and Founder of LIA, in Las Vegas at the start of awards judging and Creative LIAisons. Levy explains how LIA holds a unique place among the world’s leading advertising awards shows.
With a focus on its Awards program and both its virtual training and on-site LIAisons initiatives for young creatives, LIA is an awards organisation that invests in the future of the industry through these initiatives.
Despite a tough year for the industry, LIA has continued to run strongly recording only a 3% drop in entries. 2026 also saw the introduction of six new categories including the inaugural Democracy and Human Rights.
The week will see 191 world class Jurors and 128 young creatives hit Las Vegas.
Every piece of work will be debated and evaluated on-site: no shortcuts, no pre-judging. Which work will stand tall amongst thousands of entries globally to claim a coveted LIA Statue? The judging has kicked off in the following categories across the first three days: Ambient & Activation, Creative Strategy, Music & Sound, Entertainment & Content and Cultural Catalyst, Design and Package Design, Democracy and Human Rights, Direct, Production & Post and Music Video and Audio & Radio.
The results for the Ambient & Activation, Creative Strategy and Music & Sound are expected to be released tomorrow.

LIA – congratulations on your young creatives programme – it’s so encouraging to see an Award show give back year after year – no other show devotes so much in $’s and time to genuinely help develop the industry.
