VicReturn appoints Graffiti as event delivery partner to drive Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme
Melbourne-based brand experience agency, Graffiti, has been appointed as the official event delivery partner for VicReturn, the scheme coordinator for Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic), following a competitive pitch process.
Graffiti’s proven track record of delivering meaningful, measurable behaviour change – through high-profile campaigns for clients including TAC, Department of Transport and Planning and Safe Transport Victoria – was central to VicReturn’s decision to appoint the agency. This expertise will be pivotal in driving widespread, long-term public participation in the statewide recycling initiative.
Under the two-year appointment, Graffiti will lead the strategy, design, activation and staffing for VicReturn’s public-facing brand experiences across Victoria. The partnership will focus on delivering high-impact activations, including major sponsorships, regional and community events and targeted community pop-ups.
The program aims to deepen public engagement with CDS Vic, educating Victorians on how simple and rewarding recycling can be while driving vital sustainability outcomes for the state.
Says Vivienne Collins, General Manager, Graffiti: “We are delighted to partner with VicReturn for this next chapter of growth and impact. Their ambition to move Victoria closer to a circular economy aligns perfectly with our passion for creating meaningful, action-oriented brand experiences. We look forward to delivering a vibrant series of events that connect with communities across the state and make container recycling an accessible and rewarding everyday habit.”
The partnership will commence immediately, with Graffiti set to kick off a comprehensive calendar of experiential events across metropolitan and regional Victoria over the coming months – first stop: Melbourne Royal Show.
