UnLtd announces four new charity partners
UnLtd, the advertising industry’s social impact organisation, has announced four new charity partners as part of a strategic refresh designed to strengthen its focus on prevention and creating unlimited opportunity for all children and young people.
After more than 20 years mobilising Australia’s media and marketing industry for good, UnLtd is doubling down on where it can create the greatest long-term impact: addressing the structural, cultural and behavioural drivers of inequity.
Following a robust annual application process and extensive review, UnLtd selected We Are Mobilise, Prevention United, Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC) and Polished Man as its newest charity partners.
The refresh reflects both emerging evidence across the social sector and two decades of practical experience working at the intersection of social impact and the media industry. Over the years, UnLtd has learned that the industry’s greatest superpower isn’t simply raising funds – it’s shaping culture, influencing behaviour and telling stories that change perceptions, inspire action and unlock funding.
Says Jade Harley, Director of Impact at UnLtd: “Over the past two decades, we’ve seen that lasting change for children and young people happens when barriers are addressed early, and communities are equipped to respond before challenges become entrenched. We’ve also learned that the media, marketing, and creative industries have a unique ability to accelerate this change by shaping awareness, influencing attitudes, driving behaviour change and elevating important issues in the national conversation. These partnerships have been selected because they create opportunities to apply those strengths at scale, helping more young people access the support, connection and opportunities they need to thrive.”
The four selected organisations each bring a unique prevention lens to tackle youth homelessness, mental ill-health, gender-based violence and harmful social norms.
Prevention United is Australia’s only organisation solely focused on preventing mental illness. Through policy advocacy, coalition building and public awareness, it seeks to shift the national conversation from treatment towards prevention.
Polished Man is building a community against gender-based violence by backing trusted role models to shift attitudes and behaviours among boys and men. Through storytelling, capacity building, and grassroots innovation, they work to stop violence against women and children before it begins. The painted nail campaign sparks meaningful conversations and cultural change to help create safer, more caring communities.
We Are Mobilise is reimagining how Australia tackles homelessness. More like a tech start-up than a traditional charity, they’ve built Australia’s first verified platform that distributes direct cash support to people at risk of homelessness, proving that trust, choice and timely intervention can change lives.
WAGEC addresses gender-based violence at every stage – from prevention to crisis response and recovery. Combining frontline services with advocacy and systems change, it is working towards a future where every community is free from violence.
These four organisations complement UnLtd’s existing charity partners, strengthening its prevention-focused portfolio and creating new opportunities to mobilise the industry for long-term impact.
Says Noah Yang, CEO of We Are Mobilise: “We’re incredibly excited to join the UnLtd community. We believe homelessness is solvable – and the opportunity to access the creativity, skills, influence and reach of Australia’s media and marketing industry means we can drive that conversation for change across the entire country. For us, the most important part of this is raising awareness and giving every single person the opportunity to get involved – whether they work in the industry or live in a partner community. Together, we can achieve far more than any of us could on our own.”
