Movember appoints former DDB AUNZ CEO and President Andrew Little as Chief Executive Officer
Movember, the leading global charity for men’s health, has appointed former President and Regional CEO of DDB Australia and New Zealand Andrew Little as its new Chief Executive Officer. Little will commence in the role on the 1st of September, 2026.
The appointment follows a comprehensive global search led by the Movember Board. Little brings more than three decades of leadership experience across some of Australia and New Zealand’s most respected creative and communications agencies, including a 25-year career with DDB, where he most recently served as President and Regional CEO for Australia and New Zealand.
Throughout his career, Little has been recognised for building high-performance cultures and for leading some of the most enduring client partnerships in Australian advertising, including long-standing relationships with brands such as Volkswagen, Coles and Westpac. Under his leadership, DDB Australia and New Zealand became one of the most awarded agency groups in the region.
Little now plans to relocate to Melbourne from Sydney before taking up the position at Movember HQ.
Little said he was drawn to Movember by its purpose, its community and its creativity: “I’ve spent thirty years learning that the best work happens when people come together around something they truly believe in. Movember is that idea at scale — a movement built on creativity, community and genuine care for men’s health. Getting to know the Board and the team only deepened my conviction that this is where I want to put my energy next. I feel enormously lucky to be joining, and I’m grateful to Anne-Cécile for the strength of what she’s built in the interim.”
Movember Global Chair Damien Angus said the Board was unanimous in its decision: “Following a comprehensive search, the Board was unanimous. Andrew combines humility with confidence, builds trust quickly, and has a rare ability to bring people together around a shared purpose. He came into the process with a clear-eyed appreciation of what makes Movember special and a genuine excitement about what is still possible. It is exactly the kind of leadership this next chapter calls for.”
Angus also acknowledged the leadership of Interim CEO Anne-Cécile Berthier, who has led the organisation since May 2026 following the departure of former CEO Michelle Terry in April: “I want to thank Anne-Cécile Berthier, who stepped up as interim CEO with exactly the steadiness this organisation needed. She has led Movember through a period of transition with integrity, care and clarity of purpose. Anne-Cécile will continue as interim CEO through to Andrew’s arrival and will remain closely involved in supporting the organisation through our peak fundraising campaign.”
Movember enters its next chapter well-positioned, heading into its most important period of the year with strong leadership and a clear plan. The charity began as a simple idea between mates and grew into a global movement that has changed millions of lives — and with new leadership the best is still to come.
