Sheet Society champions rest over routines in new brand platform ‘The Rest Is Up To You’
Australian bedding brand Sheet Society has unveiled a new brand platform, ‘The Rest Is Up To You’, encouraging Australians to reclaim sleep as a deeply personal experience rather than something to optimise.
The campaign challenges the growing culture of sleep tracking, hacks and performance metrics, arguing that sleep has become another project to perfect, fuelled by an endless stream of products, discipline and data.
Instead, Sheet Society positions its bedding as a way to create a better night’s rest without the noise, encouraging people to embrace sleep on their own terms.
Directed by Simon Eeles and shot by Melbourne-based cinematographer Alex Serafini, the campaign features more than 30 Australian makers, artists and creatives, including florist September Studios, cook and event stylist Stories to Gather, ballerina Benedicte Bemet and artist Amanda Jones.
Launching alongside the campaign is Sheet Society’s first Annual Rest Report, which explores how Australians really rest, what gets in the way, and how being under-rested affects how people think, feel and show up each day.
The report will be amplified through a partnership with Broadsheet, with the aim of positioning Sheet Society as an authority on rest, beyond its role as a bedding retailer.
