Maje and SANDRO appoint MCMPR as integrated communications agency in Australia

French creative premium brands Maje and SANDRO have appointed MCMPR as their integrated communications agency across Australia, marking a strategic step in strengthening their presence within the local market.

Founded in Paris in 1998 by Judith Milgrom, Maje embodies a free-spirited femininity, blending bohemian sensibility with urban sophistication. Known for its distinctive silhouettes and confident, contemporary aesthetic, the brand captures the essence of modern Parisian style. With a strong international footprint, Maje maintains a significant retail and online presence across Australia, with 14 locations nationwide spanning Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Established in 1984, SANDRO is synonymous with effortless French elegance, balancing refined tailoring with a modern, understated edge. Rooted in the spirit of Paris’ Left Bank, the brand continues to define contemporary wardrobe essentials across both womenswear and menswear. SANDRO maintains a strong Australian retail network, with 15 locations nationwide across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

MCMPR will lead PR and Communications for both brands in Australia, delivering integrated strategies designed to elevate brand visibility and cultural relevance. The remit spans press office, talent and influencer engagement, showroom and sample management, alongside the development brand storytelling initiatives tailored to the local market.

MCMPR will leverage its local insights and global perspective to position both Maje and SANDRO within Australia’s evolving fashion landscape – driving meaningful connection with contemporary audiences through considered, multi-channel communications.

Says Marie-Claude Mallat, Founder & Director, MCMPR: “Maje and SANDRO represent the enduring appeal of Parisian style – each with a distinct point of view that continues to resonate globally. We are proud to partner with both brands at a time of continued growth in Australia, shaping strategies that amplify their identity through culturally attuned storytelling and elevated brand experiences.”

This appointment further reinforces MCMPR’s position as a trusted partner to international fashion brands within the Australian market, delivering integrated communications that balance global brand narratives with local cultural nuance.

It follows a strong period of momentum for the agency, with recent client announcements including ALO, alongside global luxury and premium brands spanning fashion, lifestyle and retail.
