World Vision Australia launches uplifting ‘Give Kindness, Feel Joy’ Christmas campaign
World Vision Australia has unveiled its 2025 Christmas campaign, “Give Kindness, Feel Joy,” a bright, optimistic celebration of generosity designed to inspire Australians and spotlight the transformative power of giving, created and produced by its in-house team.
In a year marked by cost-of-living pressures and increasing frustration around wasteful Christmas spending, the campaign positions charitable gifts and child sponsorship as joyful alternatives that deliver real, lasting impact.
Built on powerful, real-life stories, the fully integrated campaign was developed by World Vision’s in-house brand and communications team. It spans print and digital catalogues, social and digital channels, sequential OOH, TV, shopping centre activations, and PR, supported by strategic media partnerships with Mamamia and the Nine Network, as well as World Vision’s passionate ambassador network.
At the heart of the social campaign is the story of Peter Hart, a former World Vision sponsored child from Kenya who now oversees programs supporting more than 700,000 children across Africa. His lifelong bond with his sponsor—whose surname he adopted—anchors the campaign’s central message that kindness creates lasting, generational change.
Says Andrew Henderson, Head of Brand Experience: “Australians are incredibly generous, and Christmas always brings out the very best in us. ‘Give Kindness, Feel Joy’ celebrates the simple, joyful truth that when we lift up a child in need, we also share in the true spirit of Christmas—hope, connection and joy.”
