Let’s Just Meet at the Pub… Again: MADC’s Non Events Series returns 5:30pm Tuesday, December 16, The Corner Hotel Rooftop, Richmond

After the roaring success of last year’s groundbreaking achievement in organising absolutely nothing, the MADC has announced its second official MADC Non Event. A revolutionary gathering in which the MADC once again provides precisely one thing: a place and time for people to catch up.

Tuesday, December 16th
5:30pm onwards

Says Monaliza Ziba, MADC Director of Communications: “After our first MADC Non Event we found that people really do enjoy… well, just catching up. It confirmed our suspicions: the pub is a pretty solid invention. So we thought, why mess with perfection? Same spot, same time, same lack of expectations. There is, of course, no pressure to have a drink. There’s no pressure to do anything at all really, especially for the MADC.”

Says Matt Lawson, MADC Co-President: “Sure, tis the season where there are a lot of events on, but to be clear, as you can see from the name, this is not one. So don’t even feel any pressure to come down. But, we’ll be there, providing nothing but good ol’ fashioned company. Yet even that will be of questionable quality. And once again, everyone’s invited! Because it’s a public bar and we legally can’t exclude anyone. So come one, come all!”
