Strat Expands into Sydney, Appoints Tessa Mahoney as Growth & Partnership Director

Strat has expanded into Sydney, appointing senior industry leader Tessa Mahoney as Growth & Partnership Director to drive the growth of the new office.

The expansion follows sustained national growth for the independent Melbourne-headquartered agency, which now comprises more than 70 specialists spanning strategy, creative, media, digital, content production and TV production.

General manager Natalia Shore said the agency’s move north reflects both client demand and the next phase of its ambitious 5-year growth roadmap: “With a strong and established team in Melbourne, opening in Sydney is a strategic and meaningful step but also a no brainer for us.

“We’re focused on building deeper partnerships, improving responsiveness and scaling our capabilities, and with many of our clients in Sydney a dedicated local presence enables exactly that. Tessa’s expertise, energy, and leadership make her the perfect person to accelerate our momentum in this market.”

Mahoney will spearhead the Sydney office with full access to Strat’s national resources and the mandate to build and grow the team as required. Mahoney who has held senior roles across full-service creative, media and content agencies brings 18+ years of experience leading major accounts including Unilever Personal Care, Coles Group, Coles Health & Beauty, Liquorland, Bunnings and Vitality Brands Skincare.
