Former Clemenger Growth Director Charmaine Griffith joins Think HQ as new Head of Growth

Positive change independent agency Think HQ is doubling down on its Sydney expansion, appointing Charmaine Griffith as Head of Growth in a newly created role designed to accelerate the agency’s NSW expansion.

Griffith joins Think HQ from Clemenger BBDO, where she has spent over two and a half years as Growth Director. Prior to that, she held growth leadership roles at VML, including Growth Director for Australia and New Zealand. She brings a wealth of integrated agency knowledge to the position, with prior experience at PwC’s CMO Advisory, OMD, and Initiative.

In her new role, Charmaine will drive Think HQ’s Sydney growth strategy, strengthening the 100 strong Melbourne-headquartered agency’s presence in NSW and beyond.

This follows recent pitch wins with Cancer Council Australia, Stride Mental Health and Raising Children Network.

She will join Sarah Wood on the Sydney leadership team, driving coordinated growth across Think HQ’s integrated approach to strategy, creative, PR, tech and diverse audience engagement.

Says Think HQ Founder & Managing Director Jen Sharpe: “Charmaine’s appointment reflects the strength of our ambition in NSW, and nationally. From the first conversation, it was clear she truly understands our unique strengths in the market, and brings a proven ability to lead growth in complex, integrated environments. I’m looking forward to working together to bring Think HQ’s positive change approach to more clients and communities across Australia.”

Says Think HQ Sydney Director Sarah Wood: “Charmaine’s one of those people who instantly lifts a room. She’s smart, curious and genuinely invested in helping clients and teams grow. I’m so excited to have her on board at Think HQ Sydney as we build on our growth trajectory and keep driving positive change.”

Says Griffith: “Think HQ has built something rare – an agency that solves complex problems for major clients, while staying true to their values. That’s good growth, and exactly what I want to scale in NSW and nationally.”

Griffith has commenced her role at Think HQ’s Sydney office.
