Deakin’s Young Bullets a success as new talent connects with Melbourne’s top ad agencies

Deakin’s 2025 Young Bullets Advertising Graduate Showcase saw representatives from 12 agencies join emerging talent at National Gallery of Victoria.
Young Bullets is an annual showcase of Deakin’s emerging advertising talent, which aims to facilitate conversation, feedback, and connections, between fresh talent and Melbourne’s advertising industry.
This year’s sold-out event, hosted September 23rd at the NGV, was a resounding success, with graduates and students connecting with representatives from agencies such as Howatson+Company, TBWA, Hellions, and DDB, for invaluable feedback, industry connections, and opportunities.
Says Elle Bullen (pictured below), partner at Hellions and this year’s guest speaker: “Their graduation event was a testament to creative thinking, community and hard work – all things the next generation of ad makers need in spades. I dare say the evening was as inspiring for grads as it was for industry professionals who got to talk ideas and nonsense in equal measure – a sign of a truly great night.”
