Springboards Named on The Australian’s Top 100 Innovators List

Springboards, the Australian startup helping the advertising industry rethink how it uses AI, has been recognised as one of Australia’s Top 100 Innovators, landing on the cover of The Australian’s annual Innovators issue.
Each year, The Australian celebrates the country’s best thinkers and builders shaping the future across health, tech, design, and business. This year, a creativity platform made the cover.
Founded in 2023, over the past year, Springboards has grown nearly 4x year on year with teams in Sydney, Melbourne, London and New York, now used by over 200 of the world’s biggest brands and most awarded creative agencies. Rather than positioning itself as another AI tool, Springboards is building what it calls a “creative model” — technology designed to inspire creative humans, not replace them.
This year, Springboards also launched the world’s first LLM Benchmark for Creativity, a global study backed by industry associations that had over 650+ advertising professionals comparing 10,000 creative ideas in a “Tinder for Ideas” style matchup. The full results will be released at SXSW Sydney next week.
“Just a few years ago, Amy (Tucker) and I were writing brand and creative strategies for the likes of Twitter and Nike, while our Co-founder and CTO Kieran Browne was the artist in the corner experimenting with Google’s AI tools before the rest of the world had even seen them,” says Pip Bingemann, CEO and Co-founder of Springboards. “Now we’ve somehow become the pin-up kids of the Australian tech industry. It’s one of those pinch-me moments where we realise how far we’ve come and how much bigger this idea has grown than any of us imagined.”
Springboards is preparing to launch a self-serve version of its platform in early 2026 and is expanding its research team with PhD hires from The Australian National University to further develop the creative inspiration abilities of AI models.
