Aussie + UK creatives launch unofficial souvenir of LIA Creative LIAisons: Traces of Treasure

Six Creative LIAison mentees teamed up this week to commemorate their time at LIA in Vegas, because what happened in Vegas, shouldn’t stay in Vegas.
With the ambition to share a lasting trace of their unique experience with the rest of the global creative community, they have created Traces of Treasure – the creative candle that transports you to the ground floor of Creative Liasons.
The ultimate creative mood setter. Traces of Treasure is inspired by the undeniable scent of the Treasure Island Casino, the home of over 100 creatives during the LIA Awards.
The team is led by Laura Murphy from M+C Saatchi, alongside fellow Aussies, Rory Moore, Phoenix Santamaria from DDB Melbourne and Jackson Elliot from Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney, as well as UK members Lauryn Raymond & Ben Conway from McCann London.
On their inspiration, the team says: “Waking up every day to the sweet, tobacco-rich scent of the Treasure lobby soon became synonymous with the collective fever of what is possible, in our career, our work, and our evening ahead.”

The candle’s unique scent transports users to the inspiring atmosphere of Creative LIAisons.
“Maybe being pumped with such a distinct scent is what helped all the 2025 Creative LIAison Mentees burn through each day and night, and walk away fired up to create the best in the world.”
The team warns: “Side effects may include delusional optimism, newfound international LinkedIn connections & the urge to gamble (responsibly).”
The Treasure team said: “Just like the Creative Liasons program, Traces of Treasure can improve the mood of anyone, whether you’re a Frustrated Creative, needing a pungent hit of inspiration, or an Ex-Creative Liason attendee, longing for a motivational hit from the past.
“Releasing Traces of Treasure as a collective is a small reflection of just some of the meaningful relationships and memories made during our week in Vegas, which extends far beyond our nations.
“During the program we were motivated to just fucking make things. So here we are, proving we can.
“Special thanks to the LIA team, for their support in an all-star line-up of speakers and mentors, and their belief in the next generation of creatives – and of course, thank you to Treasure Island Hotel, who is in no way affiliated with this product, but acted as our olfactory muse during our week abroad.
“Order at your own risk, it’s a gamble when/if it’ll arrive.”
