Rate Money backs tradies in new ‘Don’t Loan Alone’ campaign via Sydney indie agency Bounce

CB Exclusive – Independent Sydney creative agency Bounce has partnered with Rate Money, one of Australia’s leading specialists in self-employed home loans, to launch the ‘Don’t Loan Alone’ campaign. Aimed at reshaping how more than 1.6 million self-employed Australians, including tradies, access finance.
Traditional lenders label the self-employed too risky making it near impossible to secure a loan. For tradies and other self-employed Aussies, that system doesn’t stack up… If tradies wanted paperwork, they’d be behind a desk. What they want is peace of mind, not piles of forms.
The ‘Don’t Loan Alone’ campaign centres on the idea of having Rate Money support you when other lenders won’t.

“We wanted to show the power of partnering with someone who’s in your corner, who genuinely wants you to get the loan and is ready to help however possible,” says Jacob Lumsdaine, Associate Creative Director at Bounce. “A feeling tradies rarely experience if they’ve tried to secure a loan through traditional pathways.”
For Bounce, the project also marked a fresh creative and production approach.
“Picking the right tool for the job was literally the aim of the game,” says Joel Chapman, Executive Creative Director at Bounce. “We combined photography, videography, CGI and AI to craft the campaign. It became a proof that AI vs. ‘real’ doesn’t have to be binary. The better question is how every tool can deliver more. More creativity, more output, more possibilities… More Bang, as we say.”
