Students take on advertising’s biggest questions as RMIT’s ‘Hungry Talks’ show returns; new eps drop every Wednesday at 6:30pm on YouTube

What happens when the next generation of creatives takes the mic, flips the format and creates their own talk show? Hungry Talks returns for 2025 with a fresh, student led platform that breaks down the advertising industry’s biggest questions alongside the people shaping it, all wrapped in a ’70s retro revival vibe.

This year, RMIT’s student led Hungry Talks delivers a weekly advertising talk show. Hosted by Imi Hillier (left) and Nic Cartledge (right), cutting through the noise with one big burning question each episode. Plus, an industry news wrap up that delivers bite sized updates you want.

The 2025 season dives into big topics such as whether AI will take over jobs and why advertising sucks. While tackling tricky conversations about advertising to kids, smashing gender stereotypes, and so much more.

Each episode invites industry experts to join the conversation, helping unpack these tough questions. With fresh perspectives from the next generation of creatives, Hungry Talks brings in the big guns to offer clarification, spark debate and challenge assumptions as well. Whether we land on answers or keep the conversation open, this show is the real talk young creatives deserve, the kind you won’t find in a lecture hall.

Behind the scenes, the show is powered by producer Ocean Wachirapornprut, international correspondent Charlotte Hill, art directors Gemma Caton and Emily Lynn, media and video production by Shamanii Ashley-Barlow, PR and social media by Sophie Lange (who wrote this press release), sponsorship and account manager by Weston Calver and Executive Producers John Dingeldei and David Ho.

Hungry Talks isn’t just a show; it’s a front row seat to the future of advertising. For industry professionals, it’s a unique chance to hear unfiltered insights from the next generation. These very creatives will soon be shaping your teams, challenging your briefs, and changing the game.

New episodes drop every Wednesday at 6:30pm on the Hungry Talks YouTube channel. Whether you’re a student, an industry leader, or just creatively curious, tune in and join the conversation.
