Independent creative agency Tiny Disco appoints Celeste Mackay as new Creative Director

Melbourne-based independent creative agency Tiny Disco has announced the appointment of Celeste Mackay as its new Creative Director.
After eight years at the agency’s helm, founder Chelsea Morley (above left) will be shifting out of her role as Creative Director to focus on business growth and development.
Mackay (above right), who has been with the agency in a managerial capacity since 2023, comes armed with extensive design, conceptual, and leadership experience from working across the UK, the Middle East, and Australia for brands like Chanel, Grill’d, and Seed Heritage. The promotion comes after returning from maternity leave to have her first child, Freya.
Says Morley: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Celeste as our new Creative Director. She has demonstrated time and time again her passion and commitment to Tiny Disco, our team, and the creative work. We’re so excited for what’s to come.
Morley has been the creative leader of Tiny Disco since the beginning when it was founded with her photographer husband, Stu Morley. What started as a two-person motion and photography team shooting for clients like Mecca and Dan Murphy’s, has become a leader in culturally-relevant advertising and content.
This legacy is not lost on Mackay. As a multidisciplinary creative, who has flexed her strategic design skills across visual merchandising, events, digital, and advertising, she embarks on this new role with energy and commitment.
Says Mackay: “I’m deeply passionate about people, shared experiences, and creating exceptional, memorable work that makes a real impact for our clients. In an industry that’s fast evolving, the learning never stops; and that’s what excites me most. At Tiny Disco, we’re constantly pushing boundaries, and that energy is what fuels me every day.
Mackay will officially shift into the Creative Director role at Tiny Disco’s Melbourne office in August.
