Australian post-production company Cutting Edge closes its doors after 35 years

After more than three decades in business, leading Australian post-production company, Cutting Edge has officially ceased operations entering into Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation as reported by FilmInk.

 

The news marks the end of an era for the company, which helped shape hundreds of high-profile projects across the advertising, film and TV industries since its founding in 1992.

In a statement shared on social media, the company wrote: “To all our valued clients and supporters, we would like to inform you that after 35 years Cutting Edge Post has officially ceased operations.

“We sadly say goodbye to the end of an era, thanking all those who joined our team, gave us a chance and collaborated passionately beside us. We are truly grateful.”

The company also clarified that Cutting Edge Technical Services (CETS) remains unaffected by the closure: “Please note, Cutting Edge Technical Services (CETS) remains fully operational, and is business as usual. We apologise for any confusion from our earlier post. CETS is committed to providing the same high-quality service you’ve come to expect.”
