Tash Johnson joins Special as agency’s first National Head of Production

Tash Johnson, one of Australia’s most respected production leaders, has joined Special as its first-ever National Head of Production. Her appointment marks a significant step in strengthening the agency’s integrated production offering across both Sydney and Melbourne.

 

Johnson will oversee production operations spanning film, digital, social, activations and more, while also leading Special’s in-house production arm Special Made.

She joins the agency after over four years at CHEP Network (now Clemenger BBDO), where she was National Head of Integrated Production. During her time at the agency, Johnson led multiple award-winning campaigns including Samsung’s Flipvertising and Performance Enhancing Music, Karicare’s Anne Geddes’ Feed the Real, and IKEA Australia’s The Uncreakening.

Johnson has held senior production roles at top agencies including M&C Saatchi, Host, The Monkeys and DDB Sydney, working across major clients such as Westpac, Virgin, McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Qantas, Optus, Telstra, IAG and Woolworths.
