Neon Treehouse announces new senior hires, new Adelaide HQ and focus on AI-powered growth

Neon Treehouse, an Australian digital marketing agency, has announced senior global hires, a new Adelaide headquarters, and plans to enhance its strategic offering by integrating AI-driven efficiencies.
The agency has recently welcomed three senior appointments from across the globe. Joanne Wong, former performance manager for brands like LVMH and L’Oréal through leading global agencies, has joined the team as head of digital ad strategy in the Melbourne office.
Pui Tong Yong, a marketing leader with over a decade of experience on major international projects in Hong Kong, has come on board as senior digital ads manager, also in Melbourne.
Meanwhile, Emily Hardy brings extensive experience from top-tier agencies and Australian brands to her new role as account manager in the Adelaide office.
“These hires are just the beginning of our endeavour to level up the offering of Neon Treehouse to the world, and to honour our ongoing commitment to building a world-class team of thinkers, makers, and strategists who drive results,” says Joshua White, CEO and founder of Neon Treehouse, who established the agency in 2012.
Already trusted by brands such as Illuminate Adelaide, WOMADelaide, The Shoe Group, AEDA, and Brands Direct Online, Neon Treehouse continues to deepen its work across a wide range of industries, from cultural institutions to eCommerce brands and government initiatives. With long-standing client relationships and an agile model, the agency is built to scale smartly with its partners.
As part of its commitment to talent attraction and retention, as well as building a world-class culture and delivering outstanding campaign results, Neon Treehouse has introduced a nine-day fortnight, on top of hybrid work arrangements and wellbeing days — known internally as CUP days, designed to help employees “fill their cup.” The business has also moved its Adelaide headquarters to Level 2 of 66 Wyatt Street, a former cold store that now houses creative businesses including design firm Enoki and jeweller Temple & Grace.
General manager Nick Jeavons said the company’s growth demonstrates how businesses can stay true to their core values while embracing technologies like AI: “AI is an enabler, not a replacer. We stand true to our belief that people are at the centre of everything we do, and we’re embracing what AI offers our workforce to keep them engaged at a higher level of thinking — to better our client experiences and outcomes.”
Today, Neon Treehouse has more than 20 staff servicing over 100 clients across Australia and the globe. With these latest developments, the agency is poised for further growth, adding to an impressive journey that already includes being named a finalist three times in the Fast Mover SA Awards, as well as finalist nods in the SEMRush Awards in 2023 and the APAC Search Awards in 2024. As it looks to the future, Neon Treehouse remains committed to delivering imaginative, effective strategies and world-class talent that keep its clients ahead of the curve.
