Cystic Fibrosis NZ launches fundraising pop-up store selling jars of Cannes air via Chemistry

Cystic Fibrosis NZ is calling on the NZ marketing and advertising industry to help raise vital funds for Kiwis living with CFs with the launch of ‘AIR FOR ALL’ via Chemistry NZ.

Hoping to appeal to the industry’s love of creativity and appreciation of novel ideas, Cystic Fibrosis NZ is asking people to come down to its pop-up AIR FOR ALL store in Britomart, to see the store and buy a jar of air.

Jars specially selected for the marketing and advertising industry contain air from the beautiful city of Cannes. Located on the French Riviera, its fresh, coastal air has been triple-purified, then hand-delivered to our store in Britomart. Every jar sold helps CFNZ support the CF community with Social Worker support, advocacy, grants and more.

Why is Cystic Fibrosis NZ selling jars of air?

Cystic fibrosis affects roughly 600 New Zealanders, making it the most common life-shortening genetic condition in NZ. Thick, sticky mucus builds up on the lungs and other vital organs over time, which can make it hard to breathe. So while most of us don’t even think about breathing, it doesn’t come as freely for everyone. When you live with cystic fibrosis, no breath is taken for granted.
