Wingstop appoints Hello as full-service marketing agency for Australian launch

Global fast casual dining giant Wingstop has appointed Hello as its marketing agency of record in Australia, following a competitive pitch process.

With over 2,500 restaurants and a loyal global fanbase, Wingstop’s arrival into Australia marks one of the most highly anticipated QSR launches in the local market.

The win is a major milestone for Hello, coming just months after the agency unveiled its new full-service model.

Says Sam Kelly, Managing Director, Hello: “This is a huge validation of our “Creative Intelligence” methodology and “Brand Experience for the Digital Era” model.”

Hello will lead Wingstop’s integrated marketing efforts across brand, creative, media, earned, experiential, digital, social, collaborator, in-store, POS and retail, one-to-one and loyalty programs.

Says Kelly: “Wingstop is one of the world’s most exciting brands. They have a rich history and well-established presence in the US as sponsors of the NBA and UFC. Conversely, in emerging markets like the UK, they have won over Gen Z by tapping into culture and letting collaborators lead. Our approach locally will focus on a combination of big brand-building and activating Gen Z trendsetters in new media environments. This is a brand that doesn’t do quiet, and like the flavour: we’re here to make noise.”

Store one is set to open this weekend, with Hello already at work rolling out the brand’s launch campaign and activations.
