Clockwork Films adds comedy director Edwin McGill to the roster

Clockwork Films has expanded its roster once more, with the addition of Melbourne based comedy director Edwin McGill, best known for his work for Old Spice, with US agency Wieden+Kennedy, which garnered 10 million views on YouTube in just a few days.

McGill’s work features surreal comedy often through the use of art department and VFX, as well as strong character performances, which results in unique, and attention-grabbing campaigns.

Clockwork Films began its move toward an exclusive roster last year and has been growing steadily with the goal of representing a small, curated list of talented directors.

“Edwin’s absurd comedy mixed with his visual style is the missing piece in our roster. We are extremely excited to have him! ” says Clockwork Films Executive Producer Aborah Buick.

Says McGill: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Clockwork. They produce quality work, and the team has been so warm and welcoming… Plus I’ve heard they have a houseboat. I can’t wait to get started.”
