Alt.vfx hosts inspiring International Women’s Day celebration at Buxton Contemporary

Last night, Alt.vfx proudly hosted its annual event celebrating women in the creative industry at the esteemed Buxton Contemporary. The evening brought together a vibrant community of industry professionals, fostering connections, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to supporting and uplifting women in creative fields.

 

Guests enjoyed an unforgettable night of networking, new friendships, and raising a glass to the achievements of women in the industry.

Alt’s Melbourne-based Executive Producer Eyvonne Carfora expressed gratitude to Buxton Contemporary and Senior Curator Samantha Comte, who warmly welcomed attendees and introduced the current exhibition by renowned artist Tony Clark. The audience was also privileged to hear from award-winning writer and showrunner Elise McCredie, who shared valuable insights into her illustrious career spanning numerous acclaimed series and films, including The Clearing, Stateless, and Nowhere Boys.
