Hilary Badger departs Ogilvy for ECD role at Leo; Tommy Cehak and Tim Woolford promoted to ECDs

Leo Australia has expanded its creative leadership team with three executive creative director appointments. Among them, multi-award-winning creative and best-selling author Hilary Badger (pictured above) joins the Melbourne office after two years at Ogilvy.
Prior to Ogilvy, Badger spent ten years over two stints at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, rising from copywriter to group creative director. During this time, she worked with clients in a variety of industry sectors including government, FMCG, insurance, auto, telco, tourism and sport.

Leo has also announced the promotions of group creative directors Tommy Cehak (above right) and Tim Woolford (above left) to executive creative directors in Sydney. During their time at Leo, Cehak and Woolford have worked with major clients including Diageo, Amazon, and DNSW. Prior to joining Leo in 2023, Cehak and Woolford spent five years at DDB Sydney, where they helped the agency take out the 2018 Campaign Brief Agency of the Year title.
These appointments follow the agency’s recent rebranding to Leo under Publicis Groupe’s global structure.
