‘It’s Always Sunny’ trio spoof Uber Eats’ Super Bowl ad in new campaign for Four Walls Whiskey

Four Walls, the Irish American Whiskey brand, founded by ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton, has released a cheeky, whiskey-fueled spin on Uber Eats’ latest Super Bowl commercial featuring Matthew McConaughey.

With a budget reminiscent of Always Sunny’s early seasons, the film was shot at LA’s Elbow Room before opening hours, conceived by McElhenney’s More Better team and produced by Twelve Tone Productions.

The spot playfully riffs on McConaughey’s conspiracy theory that football was invented as a marketing ploy to sell food.

Four Walls plans to push the ad on social media today.

The timing couldn’t be better for Four Walls, as the brand has just expanded into Louisiana. To celebrate, McElhenney is heading to New Orleans this weekend, where he’ll be making both announced and surprise appearances—all while cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
