Sunny Advertising promotes Sarah McNeil to CEO

Independent agency Sunny Advertising has appointed a new CEO from within its own ranks with long term employee Sarah McNeil (above) set to take on the newly created role from February 1.

Sunny Advertising Managing Director Roger Delaney (pictured below left) said he was pleased to announce McNeil’s new position following more than a decade working her way up the ranks within the business: “Sarah has built an incredible reputation as someone who is totally committed to our business, our staff and our clients and that’s reflected in everything she does. Sarah joined the business as an account manager a decade ago and in that time she has left no stone unturned in her bid to get the very best out of herself as well as those around her.”

McNeil’s leadership and her ongoing commitment to the advertising industry was reinforced with her commitment to further studies which included the successful completion of an MBA, which followed her bachelor of marketing.

Late last year McNeil was also recognised by her industry peers as one of the first Queensland participants in the IMAA’s Female Leaders of Tomorrow program.

Adds Delaney: “Our business has grown to employ around 30 full time staff specialising in traditional and digital media, as well as PR and communications. I can’t think of anyone I would rather lead us into the future than Sarah, she will play an incredibly important role in driving the business to new levels both now and in the years to come.”
