Einwick creates 3D animation for Ultraviolette, introducing its new product Future Fluid
Einwick recently partnered with Ultra Violette, one of Australia’s leading sunscreen brands, to deliver a fortune-telling message through a captivating 3D animation for Future Fluid, Ultra Violette’s latest product designed to future-proof skin.
Says Philip Einwick, the studio’s art director: “When Ultra Violette presented us with elements like tarot cards, elixirs of life, a magic eight ball, tarot cards and a crystal ball, we envisioned a cartoon like, mystical and magical scene that meets high quality 3D animations.”
Drawing inspiration from Disney’s Fantasia (1940) and Robert Zemeckis’s Death Becomes Her (1992), the creative process began with asset creation and preparation, including storyboard development, product modeling, and animation. The project involved extensive environment design, incorporating stage layouts, materials, textures, lighting, animation, and post-effects. Simulations, such as fluid dynamics, collisions, and infections, added further depth and realism, resulting in a visually stunning animation infused with the charm of early 90’s aesthetics.
The final animation debuted across Sephora locations in the US to celebrate the launch of Future Fluid and was shared widely in Australia. This project reflected a harmonious blend of creativity, experimentation, and collaboration, underscoring Einwick’s dedication to crafting innovative and memorable visual experiences.
