Teleflora unveils new heartfelt holiday campaign with Make-A-Wish via The Wonderful Agency
In the lead-up to Christmas, Campaign Brief is shining a spotlight on the season’s most anticipated campaigns from around the globe. As these campaigns roll out, we’ll be rounding up the highlights to keep you in the loop.
Award-winning Hey Baby director Sune Sorensen and The Wonderful Agency have collaborated once again to bring holiday cheer with Teleflora, the world’s leading floral delivery service. This year’s campaign, “Power of Wishes,” combines emotional storytelling with a powerful philanthropic mission.
The film follows Matty, a young boy hospitalized during the holiday season, as he experiences a magical encounter with a snowman. While whimsical in tone, the story carries a heartfelt message about connection and hope, culminating in a poignant moment centered on the universal wish for family togetherness.
The campaign also empowers Americans to make a difference. Teleflora has pledged to donate $250,000 to Make-A-Wish, a nonprofit that grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Donations are activated in three ways:
• Ordering qualifying seasonal bouquets at Teleflora.com.
• Engaging with Teleflora’s collaboration posts on Instagram or Facebook.
• Participating in a live snowman-building activation at Rockefeller Center in New York City on December 11, where Teleflora will donate $10 to Make-A-Wish for every snowman built.
Director Sune Sorensen shared his personal connection to the campaign: “This is the second year in a row I’ve partnered with Teleflora and Make-A-Wish, and it’s close to my heart, having been hospitalized as a child. I wanted the story to feel authentic, even with its enchanted elements. At its core, it’s about a boy who just wants to be with his dad.”
The campaign was shot in Vancouver with local talent, including standout child actor Aaron Stansberry. Sorensen remarked, “Aaron’s audition moved the entire room to tears. His performance carried an emotional depth that elevated the entire production.”
Sorensen, who has received critical acclaim for previous holiday campaigns such as McDonald’s “The Gift” and Amazon’s “Look Beyond,” continues to redefine the art of emotional storytelling.
