Digital Nomads HQ takes out Business Services win at Sunshine Coast Business Awards 2024
Digital Nomads HQ, a locally based digital marketing agency that attributes its success to its talented team, has been awarded the Business Services (Large) Award at the prestigious Sunshine Coast Business Awards hosted at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre on Saturday 9 November.
Since opening its doors in 2018, Digital Nomads HQ has made its mark as a full-suite digital marketing agency, specialising in SEO, web development, and advertising services for professional small and medium businesses, trades, NDIS providers, and not-for-profit organisations and now employs 14 in-house marketing specialists right in the heart of Mooloolaba.
Digital Nomads HQ Founding Director Jodi Theisen said she was incredibly proud and excited to have received the award as a first-time entrant and to be recognised as significant contributor to the region’s thriving business, and specifically technology, landscape: “Digital marketing is a complex solution to a simple problem. The problem we’re solving for our clients is to stand out to their audience amidst a noisy marketplace.
“The complexity lies in knowing which digital product will achieve this — be it search engine optimisation, pay-per-click or social media —and how best to position our clients within that space. We’ve always strived to do things differently and we like to think we may have had a hand in the growth of the Sunshine Coast’s digital and knowledge-based industries.
“We’re not just a marketing agency; we’re part of a larger ecosystem that supports local businesses, nurtures talent, and contributes to the business maturity of the Sunshine Coast community.”
With a commitment to supporting the region’s economic diversification and retaining the Sunshine Coast’s younger generation, Digital Nomads HQ has recognised there is a strength in recruiting within the region with 50 per cent of their workforce being local 25 to 30-year-olds.
“Retaining great local talent advances the Sunshine Coast’s reputation for conducting business at a world-class level, particularly relevant ahead of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics,” said Ms Theisen.
“We understand future economic growth will require a skilled workforce and improved digital connectivity to encourage innovation and support for research and development and the Sunshine Coast is certainly becoming a hub for talented digital specialists.”
Looking to the future, Digital Nomads HQ sees exciting opportunities for team expansion and innovation, as well as investing in more philanthropic projects to give back the local community. The agency plans to build on its reputation as a thought leader in the industry – amplifying their distribution of educational content through their podcast and YouTube channels, delivering valuable marketing insight to local businesses.
“We are thrilled to be part of a movement that’s changing the perception of regional businesses. Our goal is to continue helping local businesses thrive while also expanding our footprint Australia-wide.”
“This award is a reflection of our team’s dedication to building long-term, meaningful relationships with our clients and providing exceptional service that goes beyond expectations.”
Digital Nomads HQ’s recognition at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards highlights the agency’s ability to deliver excellence, not only in digital marketing but also in its corporate culture and its commitment to local growth.
