Nibble Edge defies industry trends with explosive growth three months after merger

Three months after the merger of creative content agency Edge and digital specialist Nibble Digital, Nibble Edge has shattered expectations, reporting rapid growth, exceeding first-quarter targets by 300%, and securing 11 major new clients, including CBOE and Vinidex. The 30-person digital creative agency has positioned itself as a powerful player in the B2B, financial services, and other complex business sectors, delivering agile, client-centered solutions through its global operations.

 

Rather than chasing awards or high-profile pitches, Nibble Edge is going against the grain. Its strategy focuses on delivering real value in sectors often overlooked by other agencies, such as finance, health, and large-scale B2B. Clients like CSR and Global X have expanded their remit with Nibble Edge due to its ability to scale up quickly and fit flexibly around their operations.

Says Fergus Stoddart (above left), a founding director: “A lot of agencies are focused on the ‘sexy’ creative accounts, but we’re thriving in areas that require complex, nuanced work. As much as possible, we are trying to operate as an extension of their in-house teams, working out where their strengths are and where we can add the most value.”

Nibble Edge’s ability to dive in and out of projects with ease, thanks to its agile processes, has earned it high praise from clients.

Adds Stoddart: “Our operating model is all about flexibility. We’re not chasing ego or status; we’re focused on what works best for our clients, even if it’s less glamorous. That’s been key to our success, and we’re seeing more referrals because of it. Of the 11 clients who have started work with us, only one came through a pitch. It’s allowing us to spend way more time focussed on our own clients.”

Since the merger, Nibble Edge has also doubled down on its creative production capabilities, expanding the Indian team with top-tier talent in animation, motion graphics, 3D, and 4D. The Chennai-based studio continues to slot in alongside in-house teams and other agency partners to produce thousands of digital assets.

This effort has unlocked significant wins, including opening new global accounts.

This model also means, in Australia, we’re bucking the industry trend of ‘juniorisation’ focussing on keeping senior talent onshore that can add strategic value with every interaction.
