Revolver Sydney has taken out the highly coveted Production and Post Production Grand LIA for Telstra ‘Better on a Better Network’ as the next batch of winners are announced following a rigorous on-site judging process in Las Vegas.

After watching and discussing submissions from around the world, the Jury awarded the Grand LIA to Revolver Sydney for the beautifully crafted campaign for Telstra, which also picked up two more Gold Statues in the category. Telstra’s ‘Better on a Better Network’ was created in conjunction with Bear Meets Eagle On Fire and +61.

The wins didn’t stop there with Revolver also scoring a Bronze Statue for Sydney Opera House ‘Play it Safe‘ and a Bronze Statue for Channel 4 ‘Considering What‘.

Exit Films and director Mark Molloy won a Gold Statue for Telstra ‘This is Footy Country‘ for Direction, whilst The Editors secured the Gold Statue for Editing, also for Telstra ‘This is Footy Country’.

FINCH, Sydney picked up two Silver Statues for TAB ‘Our Sport Is Sport‘ as well as a Bronze for Pepperstone ‘Don’t Be Fine With It‘.

Says Emma Daines, founder/CEO/EP at Fin Design + Effects and jury president of LIA Production & Post Production and Music Video: “Production and Post-Production was quite dominated by direction, cinematography and editing. The Work was really really good, it was quite hard to shortlist, but we did get some very clear winners.

“Often it can be quite contentious when voting for the Grand LIA, but we were pretty unanimous, there were two very close choices but we were all happy with the winner.”

In total, 88 Statues were awarded, with a Grand LIA, 28 Gold, 32 Silver, and 27 Bronze Statues, as well as 20 Finalists.

The Digital category saw Ogilvy Australia secure one Bronze Statue for KFC ‘Kentucky Fly’.

Australia didn’t pick up any winners in the Music Video category or the Use of Social Media & Influence category.

Created for Creatives, LIA gathers the industry’s very best in a thorough evaluation process with no online prejudging, ensuring jurors dedicate their complete focus to assessing every submission together, creating a fair and comprehensive selection of winners.

Says Terry Savage, chairperson of LIA: “A common comment heard from the juries this year has been that the quality of the work was a very high standard. The quality of the juries was instrumental in ensuring that the best possible result was obtained. This is made easier at LIA, because every judge sees every piece of work in the category they are judging.”
