Rhythm refocuses on production and closes full-service agency offering

After a period of change, independent creative and production outfit Rhythm is moving into a new phase. The ownership group and the team have been streamlined as the business moves away from in-house creative to focus on new production opportunities. As a result long-serving creative Stef Langton is leaving the company.

Adam Rule, Rhythm’s Director, said: “The last few years have been extremely busy for the company as we grew from a handful of people to a large inhouse, full-service agency group. It has been a rewarding season, working with some great direct clients, agency partners and brilliant team colleagues. However, it became more and more apparent that the business needed to head in a different direction with a new operational model.”

Rhythm has built a strong portfolio of work across various disciplines and industry sectors and Gemma Rule, Producer / Editor at Rhythm, plans to continue this tradition. She said: “Rhythm has a good reputation for quality production and service in the advertising and brand space and we will be looking to grow that in the coming years. On top of this we are exploring some interesting production projects that fall outside of the marketing space which is something we are very excited about. Because of Adam’s creative background we’ll always try to enhance production opportunities with high quality creative but we’ll go back to doing this with collaborations and agency partners.”

“We are proud of what we have accomplished since COVID. We have made some amazing friends, banked some really nice work and overcome some big challenges. We’re very thankful to all our team for their hard work and contributions to our culture. We are excited for what the next phase of Rhythm has in store for us. It’s not the end, it’s just the beginning of something new,” continued Rule.

Art director and designer, Stef Langton has amicably split with the ownership group and is exploring new opportunities and better life balance as a freelance creative and consultant.

Langton said: “It’s been a great run at Rhythm and I’m proud of the excellent standard of work we’ve all produced together over the past few years. It’s the right time to take the step back, and while my relationship with Rhythm will continue, I look forward to this more balanced phase ahead.”

A new Rhythm website will launch soon.
