VANDAL scores four Gold at 2024 Better Future Sydney Design Awards

The Better Future Sydney Design Awards announced its 2024 winners with VANDAL scoring four Gold wins across multiple categories.

 

Intel Core AI Studio for BRING Agency took home the Gold In Branded Experience.

VANDAL created an immersive AI experience combining art, design, music and fashion. Powered by the music of Ta-Ku via BRING Agency, Intel laptop stations with music production tools and custom AI graphic visualisation allowed visitors to ‘mix’ their own graphics straight onto a t-shirt.


Kingfisher’s ‘World Phone Amnesty’ won Gold in the Circular Economy category. VANDAL partnered with Rethink Everything to create global awareness around technological landfill and device circulation.


Natural Rhythms’ for Lendlease won Gold in Generative AI. The 12 month-long generative AI digital placemaking exhibition showcases the ecological cycles of Australia’s fauna and flora via VANDAL’s custom AI Atelier offering.

Created in partnership with WE ARE WARRIORS and R/GA, the Sydney New Year’s Eve pylon projections, ‘Buried Country’, won Gold in Motion Graphics.

The Better Future Awards is the world’s largest network of design award programs, uniting over 115,000 members to celebrate more than $USD 472 Billion in design projects. The awards recognise excellence across categories including Advertising, Marketing, Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Communication, Fashion and Better Future initiatives.

The Gold Awarded projects will advance to the Australian Design Awards with the potential to compete in the Better Futures global championship award program.
