Inclusively Made set to host ‘No Silly Questions’ – A monthly community roundtable to create an inclusive film, TV and advertising industry
Following the success and feedback from its recent roundtable event, Inclusively Made, the pioneering initiative aimed at promoting inclusive practices in the production industry, has announced the launch of ‘No Silly Questions’ – a monthly roundtable for industry professionals wanting to create content inclusively. The next session will take place 12:00 – 1:00pm on Thursday July 25.
Next month’s event will feature producer and performer, Emma Watkins, known to many as ‘Emma Memma’ or ‘The Yellow Wiggle’. The event will explore how to build inclusion throughout the production and creative process, as well as how to challenge the environment to become as inclusive as possible.
Says Henry Smith, founder, Inclusively Made: “At Inclusively Made, we understand that embracing inclusive practices can be a daunting task, filled with uncertainties and questions. “No Silly Questions” aims to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where participants feel comfortable asking any questions they may have about inclusion in production—no matter how big or small.”
What to Expect:
● Open Q&A Session: Unlike traditional roundtables, this event encourages participants to ask any questions they have about inclusion in production. Each month the expert panel will be on hand to provide answers, share insights, and offer practical advice.
● Interactive and Informal: No Silly Questions is moving away from formalities to foster an open and supportive atmosphere. Attendees can freely engage in conversations and discussions without the pressure of feeling like they need to know everything.
● Confidence Building: This session is designed to help industry professionals build confidence in their ability to implement inclusive practices in their work. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to enhance your existing efforts, this event is for you.
Inclusively Made is dedicated to supporting the film, TV, and advertising industries in their journey toward inclusivity. Its mission is to empower creators with the knowledge and tools they need to produce content that authentically represents diverse communities.
