Revolver signs emerging director Vic Singh-Thompson

Revolver has announced the signing of director Vic Singh-Thompson.

Singh-Thompson’s latest short, 14 in February which was produced by Revolver, premiered at the 2023 Sydney Film Festival in official selection and recently premiered online as a Vimeo Staff Pick and as a part of Director’s Library. The work has already been awarded Gold in the short film category at the 2023 Young Director’s Award in Cannes and won Singh-Thompson the coveted new talent in Direction award at Ciclope Asia.

Singh-Thompson’s previous short film Don’t Forget To Go Home premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival, screened at Outfest Fusion as well as Flickerfest.

In line with the company’s longstanding commitment to invest in emerging talent, Revolver produced 14 in February alongside Screen NSW and are proud to continue in fostering Singh-Thompson’s directorial voice in the commercial space.

Says Singh-Thompson: “Revolver is an inspiring creative community of producers, directors and production staff lead by the extraordinary Michael, Pip and Anna. It has been my creative home for three years and I am excited to enter into the next chapter with the company.”
