Alinta Energy outlines Australia’s journey to a renewable future in new campaign via BMF
Alinta Energy has launched a new brand platform ‘True Power’, to help Australians better understand where their energy comes from and what’s involved in the transition to net zero.
Told through an animated world – created in partnership with BMF and Buck – the campaign, which is backed by one of The Verve’s ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ outlines Australia’s journey to a renewable future and Alinta Energy’s role in getting to net zero.
‘True Power’ takes a clear and honest approach in talking about where Australia’s energy comes from. It explains that right now, a blend of different energy sources is required to provide Australians with energy that’s as reliable and affordable as possible.
The integrated campaign will roll out across TV, OOH, radio, and digital display.
Says Amanda Hagan, executive director retail markets, Alinta Energy: “We know that many Australians are confused about energy, and we hope this straightforward information and approach will help. We’re optimistic about Australia’s future and want to give Australians the information they need to make better-informed decisions when they choose their energy provider and use energy in their home or business.”
Says Stephen McArdle, CEO, BMF: “While Australia hasn’t built enough renewable infrastructure to be able to switch off coal and gas energy sources just yet, we’ve partnered with Alinta Energy to create a long idea and brand platform that will leverage their commitment to educating Australians on how we’re going to get there.”

Midjourney x buck
Cute that the Mortal Engines sequel is anime…
The soundtrack of so-so, wishy-washy, neither-here-nor-there promises.
No other word for it.
Rise of the “prompt engineers”
What the hell did I just watch?
God, this look got real tired real fast.
Is anyone meant to make out of that monstrosity?
Feels more like a Monster horror film than a positive message about green energy mixed with other sources….. run the ALINTA robot is coming!!!
Give me Nathan Lyon in a hot tub over this any day.
Being honest about the complexity of transitioning to cleaner energy with the audience is interesting. The execution isn’t.
do the wind turbines stop turning when it gets dark? Does the wind stop when the sun goes down?
But assumed it was for government.
Where’s the strategy? Buck has done a nice job, unsure what BMF did.
hahahahahahaaha. AI generated manifesto pitch fodder.
i like the cows
That’s called craft not AI. Too good to be true? Maybe time to upgrade your Art/Technical skills or work for someone who cares about art
midjourney could never! ad looks very well thought out
This is an ugly, cynical, disingenuous piece of mining-lobby propaganda. But at least it’s truthful about their desire – to travel forward as slowly and as cumbersomely as possible.
Better than that cringe-worthy cricket creative!
For anyone that thinks this is AI you are kidding yourself..
This is an amazingly planned and executed 3D project. I knew it was a large company like Buck as soon as I saw it.
It’s an ad I actually want to watch whenever I see it appear on TV. I’d love to learn how to get even remotely this good at 3D!
It sure beats all the trash fast food and car ads that saturate everything at the moment
Looks like the beginning of the 15 minute city’s……
No doubt an art project helped by the power of AI, even the roads are combative with their unrealistic y junctions. The only feasible thing is the mentioned hydroelectric dam.
