MAD STARS opens for entries: Introduces paid entries into Professional categories
MAD STARS are inviting professionals in marketing, advertising, and digital content to show off what they can do. Submissions for MAD STARS 2024 are open until June 15.
There are three submission tiers, each offering fees that vary between $200 and $250 per category, along with an early bird period that provides substantial discounts until May 10th. Find everything you need to know to enter here.
MAD STARS is judged by more than 350 experts from 70 countries, ensuring fair and high-quality judging that meets global standards. For the Professionals, one preliminary judging is followed by three final judging (1 online and 2 offline), to determine Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Crystal winners by category as well as Grand Prix by category and Grand Prix of the Year. General Public winners are chosen with preliminary judging only.
NEW IN 2024
The evolution of MAD STARS continues this year, following its transition from AD STARS in 2022 to reflect its breadth across the entire marketing industry. Entries into the Professionals will be paid this year. This carefully considered move will take the quality and prestige of MAD STARS to the next level for recipients of its awards and lay the foundations for discovering and applauding top-quality creative solutions from around the world. Fees have been structured to make entry accessible, ranging from US$200-US$250 (Regular) and US$150-US$200 (Early Bird) to US$250-US$300 (Late Fee). Finalists will be announced on July 19 and winners will be announced on August 23.
MAD STARS has also expanded its Special Awards, adding Holding Company of the Year, awarded based on points earned. This category evaluates a holding company’s entire network (including its agencies) and is determined by calculating the scores of all winning entries. It will be an opportunity to reward both the winning agency and the holding company to which it belongs.
MAD STARS is a marketing, advertising, and digital content festival and awards program that combines creativity with cutting-edge technology. It is held annually in Busan, South Korea, the festival will take place this year from August 21 to 23, under the theme, AIM, Aim Marketing Success with AI. A highlight of this year’s festival will be the range of insights and successful marketing cases that have used AI technologies in ground-breaking ways, and explorations of the possibilities, now and in the future, in the metaverse and AIGC.
