Monarx Editorial launches in South-East Queensland and beyond
Monarx Editorial, a Queensland-based bespoke editorial house with a global reach, has opened doors in inner-city Brisbane. The company is set to raise the storytelling bar by collaborating with some of the finest editors in the country.
Founded earlier this year, Monarx Editorial combines old school classic service values and suites with state-of-the-art technology to provide a platform for seamless access to some of the best editing storytellers in the industry.
Monarx Editorial’s founder, Haley McDonald, shares her company mission stating: “We wanted to bolster our editorial roster via an ease of collaboration with the finest talent in the country, and through Monarx, we work with Directors to help facilitate top class editors of their choice as well as investing heavily in the next generation of story-telling filmmakers, both local and interstate.”
The company has the added advantage of sharing facility space with 3P Studio, the animation and VFX arm of the group, adding an extra layer of artistic prowess to the Monarx offering.
McDonald expresses her enthusiasm saying: “Monarx is complimented by 3P Studio, our animation and VFX arm, and Monarx just adds that extra level of collaboration that we felt the market up here has been screaming out for, and we are really excited about the beautiful work we will create in 2024 and beyond and the ease of access to our VFX artists and animators that Directors will have when they come to Monarx.”
With two decades of experience as an editor and a passion for beautifully crafted storytelling, McDonald emphasised the importance of Monarx Editorial’s diverse roster of Editors.
Says McDonald: “Being an Editor for 20 years, artistically crafted storytelling has always been a great passion of mine, and it’s been very exciting to be able to call on this exceptional roster of Editors and offer them to our clients.”
